The Wooly Daily is a small yet high volume third-wave coffee shop located in the historic Woolworth Building (Tribeca/Financial District) no more than 3 blocks from the A/C/2/3/R/J/W/4/5/6 trains.

We are currently looking for barista who appreciates the nuance of the coffee world as much as we and our patrons do. Must hold dedication to craft equally with customer service. Confidence and outward personalities are a plus.

Mandatory experience with the following:
– Dialing in the grind.
– Manual espresso extraction.
– Working within defined extraction parameters during a rush.
– Modern milk steaming method and basic latte art with regular and alternative milks required.
– Juggling the prep of multiple drink orders and expediting efficiently.
– Basic machine maintenance.
– Minimum 1 year specialty coffee experience in NYC, preferably Manhattan.

Our crew is small and close knit. We love our regulars as much as we love giving a new customer their best NYC coffee experience. To us, the ambiance of the shop is as important as the product we serve. Must have a great taste in music, a light heart, and a great attitude!

Pay is competitive, tip average is high & we offer staff meals.
We’re open Monday-Friday (thats right, no weekends!)
Shift blocks are approximately 6am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-7pm
Currently looking for 2-3 weekday shifts
