Petite Shell is a specialty bakery and coffee shop located on the UES. We serve coffee from Forty Weight of Ithaca, NY alongside exceptional fresh baked pastries.We currently have an opening for a highly skilled barista that is looking for somewhere to apply their skills in a busy setting at a great locally owned coffee shop. Basic latte art skills are required for this position, as well as a minimum of 1 year as a professional barista at a specialty coffee company. Duties will be limited to coffee, no food prep is required. We are growing very quickly, and looking towards a 2nd shop… This means opportunity for advancement. The chosen barista will be professional at all times, friendly with customers and co-workers, able to create consistent drinks, and most importantly—able to take direction to adapt to the standards of our workplace. Starting hourly rate is based on experience, and is above market rate. Expect 15-30 hrs/week depending on your availability.
