About us:

East One Coffee Roasters are an exciting new Roastery, Coffee Shop and All Day Eatery in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. We believe in the seamless integration of high-quality preparation and memorable hospitality. This approach is emphasised in both our coffee and food programs.

Summary: As a barista at East One you will be working closely with our roastery, creating a direct feedback loop from green coffee to final beverage. We are looking for experienced baristas that continue to be excited by coffee and have a desire to keep learning. We work with all the usual high end tools, including the 1st Slayer Steam in NYC.

Responsibilities:

–Provide friendly, accommodating service to all guests.

-Dial in espresso and other brew methods to meet and maintain quality standards

-Develop strong working relationships with your team through support and professionalism

-Maintain work area and equipment to a high degree of cleanliness

-Participate in cuppings and tastings to remain current and knowledgeable about our products

-General housekeeping
