Job Description

At Sip and Co, we are interested in providing great coffee, simple and delicious breakfast and lunch options, and excellent customer service to all of our clientele. We are currently looking for a Cashier/Barista to join our team who has open flexibility on days available to work. Shifts typically range from 6 to 8 hours each day. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, and total tips range from $10-$13/per hr. Benefits include unlimited coffee and one free food item per shift.

Experienced barista is preferred but don’t hesitate to apply even if you do not have extensive barista experience. We are willing to train so long as you believe in learning on the job and learning from making mistakes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Greeting customers at the register and guiding them through our menu options.
– Enjoying working as a team, at the register taking orders, and at the bar.
– Processing transactions fast while accurately taking orders.
– Always being friendly yet also exhibiting NYC efficiency during pushes
– Brewing filter coffee, serving cold brew, handing out pastries and other items, and expediting food items to customers whenever necessary.
– Keeping the bar area and dining areas clean and restocked.
– Complying with health and safety regulations.
– Be on time, and always be respectful to everyone.
– Be accountable for your own’s actions, and always communicate.

We currently have weekdays and weekend availabilities.
