Full-Time Store Manager
Job Description
STORE MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Think Coffee is an independently-owned and operated retailer, importer, and roaster with 11 locations throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York, and 7 franchised operations in South Korea. Additionally, Think Coffee has operations in office coffee service, online retailers, wholesale/distribution, and e-commerce.
Operated in Manhattan since 2007, Think Coffee started as an alternative coffee shop near NYU offering locally roasted coffee, baked goods, and house-made sandwiches. It has then evolved into a fully independent importer and roaster, with a focus on socially conscious & ethical business practices.
In 2016 we created a sourcing model developed to target issues within the coffee supply chain. In particular, the inequities for many coffee laborers, their communities, and families. We were no longer invested in only harvest quality, farm improvements, and labor pay but in addition, the quality of life for the people who do the hard labor of picking our coffee. Projects are implemented with every coffee we sell.
