Dallis Bros. Coffee, a 99-year-old artisan coffee roaster based in Ozone Park, Queens, has a current opening for Training And Development Manager for the New York City Region.

As part of our talented team, you’ll work within the best city in the world, responsible for all training of company personnel, providing training support for customers, and managing our many special events in the food and drink industry and beyond.

Reporting to our Vice President of Sales & Marketing, John Moore, you’ll work together with the sales team members, Director of Coffee, Customer Service, the Service Director and Accounts Receivable. The Training and Development Manager will be based out of the main office and roasting plant in Ozone Park, Queens.  The role will require significant support of the New York City region in addition to the occasional support of other regions.
 
This is a full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm position that may require hours outside of those parameters. You’llbe required to work independently and efficiently, maintaining and growing our existing customer base and delivering the highest level of professionalism and service. You will liaise between customers, staff and management to ensure knowledge and feedback flow smoothly in all directions, and solve problems in a timely and empathetic manner. In addition, your extensive coffee knowledge and comfort in delivering complex information in easy-to-understand ways will ensure your success both at customer sites, within our roasting facility, and when representing the company at special events and within promotional efforts. Working across all three of our company brands will require your true ability to understand customer needs. Naturally, you are an experienced barista and bring your understanding of equipment and coffee brewing concepts to the table.
 

Compensation Package includes a competitive base salary allotted toward sales role and quarterly bonus, full benefits with health and dental (including FLEX spending), Afflack Programing, and 401K.
